I have set my watchmen on the wall...

If you are reading this article most probably you are one of these watchmen. Usually what draws and moves us is the part of the body that the Lord has created us to function in. The Lord chooses (1Corinthians 12:4-11) where we are to function in His body. Where we have been set to function is a gift to His Kingdom, and His body. It is also His means to accomplish His plans and purposes on the earth in the era that an individual has been appointed to walk in on the earth.

The era that we have been appointed to walk in on the earth is a crucial time; a pivotal point not just in time, but more, in eternity. The Lord is intensifying the "birth pangs" in the human affairs of men. We have seen many of the prophesies of the Old Testament, and of the Lord's words in the gospels come to pass in our life time.

The Lord uses His watchmen to loose on the earth what has been loosed in the heavens, and to bind on the earth what has been bound in the heavens. He has limited Himself in accomplishing His will on the earth to the cooperation of His watchmen. We must realize the seriousness of our times and the weight of our Lord's need for our faithful cooperation in our function as watchmen.

When a soldier is in a time of peace, he is leisurely and seemingly accomplishing little. However, when war is full fledged and he is in the fore front, he is always girded up and equipped, alert for the battle. This is not a time of peace but of full fledge war. The Lord is calling His watchmen to the battle front. It is time for all of the watchmen to be girded up, alert and fighting the Lord's battles.

In a war there are locations that are crucial to the winning of the war. For example, during World War 2 at the battle of Dunkirk, thousands of the allied forces were concentrated together to land on the beaches of Dunkirk in order to break the stronghold of the Third Reich. This victory was the beginning of the end of Hitler's regime. We as the Lord's watchmen need to intensify and concentrate our attacks against the enemy on strategic fronts!
