B’Shem Dance Ministry

B’Shem Dance Ministry strives to encourage people to enter into God’s presence through Hebraic dance. We believe that there is a fresh move by the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Spirit of God) to reestablish the Jewish Roots of our faith in which dance has a large part. Hebraic dance is Scriptural (Ps. 149:3) and releases joy and healing to all who want to worship with their whole being. Dance also brings an excitement that comes through knowing God (Ex. 15:20). It is a Spirit infused way to express our faith.

Dancing on the Feast of Tabernacles
B’Shem Dance Ministry was born in my heart 11 years ago, the first time I saw Jewish folk dancing at a Rosh Hashanah celebration. I knew this was what God had called me to do. After 2 years of equipping by weekly dance instruction we were asked to start teaching a small fellowship some of the dances we had learned. That was the beginning of B’Shem Dance Ministry. The Lord has kept us busy since then teaching dance classes in many different types of congregations, in many different locations, doing workshops, and dancing at different celebrations such as Erev Shabbat & Shabbat services, Bar Mitzvahs, weddings, Feast days and conferences.

Dancing live to Ted Pearce
B’Shem Dance Ministry has a focus on circle dancing that involves ANYONE who wants to dance. We believe EVERYONE can learn to dance! We are also highly motivated to help raise up dance leaders in congregations that want to establish dance as part of their worship experience.
