Comfort Israel is a division of International Disciple Training, Inc. (I.D.T.) The heart of this ministry is to comfort, encourage and express unconditional love and solidarity to the Jewish people worldwide and the Nation of Israel. Through prayer (Psalm 122:6), speaking out (Isaiah62), and material blessings (Isaiah 40:1 & Romans 15:27), we long to walk in the ways of the Word of God.

I.D.T. is a 22 year old Christian Inter-Denominational ministry who enjoys legal status in the United States (California), Mexico, Canada and Liberia, West Africa. Our work in Baja, Mexico spans from building free housing for the poor, a child day care center, an orphanage, local churches, feeding and clothing programs and most importantly, discipleship.

Aspects of Comfort Israel:

  • “Coverings”, the ministry of blessing both individuals and families with hand made Challah Bread Covers for Shabbat to show love, encourage, support and show solidarity with the Jewish people. These covers are made by people in Mexico, the United States and Canada.
  • “Operation Outfield”, an on-going project to collect and ship baseball equipment to the relatively new Youth Baseball Team in Jerusalem and throughout the country of Israel.
  • Through I.D.T., Comfort Israel hosts yearly Study and Clergy tours to Israel, including volunteer work for those who are able to stay in the Land after the tour ends.
  • Rance and Brandy Cook are also representatives for “Bridges for Peace” in Mexico. www.bridgesforpeace.com
  • Comfort Israel is dedicated to bringing hope to victims of terror.
  • Comfort Israel is available to work with groups in Mexico to locate and assist Mexican Jews make Aliya.
  • Rance & Brandy host yearly Passover Seders, to honor the Lord’s Word and to teach Christians the Hebraic Roots of their faith.
